DENNIS HOPE, ARTIST
Dennis trained in art and education at the National Art School in Sydney. He then went on to the Sydney Teachers’ College to teach art in secondary schools and tertiary institutions until retirement many years ago.
Dennis’ artworks have been reproduced on note paper, tea towels and china plates as well as placemats and coasters. Most of his pen, ink and water colour work has been centred around architecture, from penal and colonial days to modern buildings and bridges. He also draws birds, animals, and flowers.
